saigon in october: flooded streets and what i'd pack

Most days were sunny mornings, then a big storm late afternoon. Some low streets flooded for an hour.

Pack: sandals, quick dry shorts, a light rain jacket, a dry bag for the phone.

Plan indoor stuff (museums, malls, massage) for after 3pm and you're golden.

    Add a tiny towel. Wiping off after a Grab ride makes you feel human again.

    September and October are the wettest in my experience. November starts drying out.

    We just did the afternoon pool + nap thing. Kids didn't mind at all.
