saigon barbershop: shave, ear cleaning and a face wash i didn't ask for

Went to a local barbershop for a quick trim. Came out 70 minutes later.

Haircut, then straight razor shave, then the ear cleaning with those tiny tools and a light. Weird at first, then weirdly relaxing.

Then hair wash lying down plus a short head and shoulder massage.

Point at the price list before they start so you know what you're getting. Some places do the full routine by default.

    Is it painful? My partner wants to try but is scared of the pointy tools.

    Not painful at all, they're very gentle. He can skip it too, just say no ear.

    Agree on checking the list first. Haircut only vs the whole package is a big difference.

    Best haircut I've had abroad tbh. Barber had zero English but a phone photo did the job.
