bui vien vs D1 rooftops vs phu my hung: vibe check after a week

Tried all three during my week, quick take:

Bui Vien = loud, cheap beer, plastic chairs, music from 4 bars at once. Fun for one night, maybe two.

D1 rooftops = views, cocktails, dress up a bit, quieter crowd. Good for a first night or a birthday.

Phu My Hung (D7) = way calmer, wide streets, lots of families and Korean restaurants, a few bars. Felt more like a neighbourhood night out.

Anyone have a favourite for a Tuesday?

Tuesday? Thao Dien. Couple of craft beer spots, chill, no one yelling at you to come inside.

Can confirm PMH is calm. I like it that way, but if you want a big night it's not the spot.

Bui Vien on a weeknight is actually more fun imo, less crowded and you can get a seat.

Whatever you pick, keep your phone in your pocket around Bui Vien. Bikes go past very close.
