About Canalis

Canalis Club is one of the great survivors of Saigon nightlife. It opened in the late 2000s, has moved address over the years, and now trades at 264 Bis Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa in District 3. With well over 100,000 followers on its official Facebook page, it is a name most local clubgoers know, and it is a good choice if you want a genuinely Vietnamese club night rather than an expat bar.

Music and atmosphere

The core sound is Vinahouse, the fast, bass-heavy Vietnamese take on house music that defines the local club scene. Around it, Canalis runs a busy calendar of themed nights: EDM and K-pop parties, hip-hop line-ups, ladies' nights and big seasonal events such as Halloween. The club describes its interior as a mix of classic and modern luxury, with a gold-lit stone staircase at the entrance and a hexagonal main bar wrapped in LEDs that is meant to look like a giant diamond. Sound comes from a Martin Audio system.

As in most Vietnamese clubs, you pay through a table with a minimum spend rather than a cover charge. Booking-agent listings give these typical figures (not an official price list):

• Main-floor standing table for 1–4 guests, beer included: from about 1,100,000 VND
• Stage-side standing table or super sofa: about 2,990,000–5,000,000 VND
• VIP and Super VIP sofas: about 7,000,000–20,000,000 VND, higher on weekends

Location

264 Bis Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa, District 3 (Xuân Hòa ward after the 2025 reorganisation). It is around ten minutes by car from central District 1 and easy to reach with Grab.

Tips

• Google Maps lists the club as open daily from 20:30 to 03:30; it fills up around midnight, especially on Saturdays.
• Entry is 18+ only, so carry a passport or photo ID.
• Smart-casual dress works best; avoid flip-flops and beachwear.
