Saigon rainy season is roughly May to November, and Sep/Oct tend to be the wettest.

Usually it's sunny in the morning then a massive downpour in the afternoon or evening for 1-2 hours, then it just stops.

When it rains Grab prices go up and it's hard to get a car. Some low streets flood fast.

My kit: cheap poncho, plastic bag for the phone, sandals instead of sneakers. Plan indoor stuff for after 3pm.

Anyone else here for ho chi minh rainy season 2026? It's been pretty typical so far imo.
