Got caught in a downpour, cars were all surge priced and nothing nearby, so I booked a bike.

Driver handed me a poncho from under the seat. Soaked from the knees down anyway.

Honestly kind of an adventure. Wouldn't do it with a laptop bag though.

    Heavy rain usually stops after an hour or two. If you can, wait it out in a café.

    Sandals in rainy season, always. Sneakers took 3 days to dry for me.
