Got dragged along by my Vietnamese coworkers last Friday. Never done the private room karaoke thing before.

You get your own room, a huge screen, a tablet to queue songs, and someone brings drinks and fruit plates.

English song list was bigger than I expected. Lots of 2000s pop, some very questionable ballads.

Bill was split by the person who organised it so I honestly don't know the total. Asked about prices before going in next time I'd go myself.

10/10 would embarrass myself again.

    Karaoke with coworkers is basically a team building ritual here lol. Pro tip: learn one Vietnamese song chorus and they'll love you forever.

    Anything slow with a repetitive chorus. Ask them to pick, they'll argue about it for 10 mins which is half the fun.

    The fruit plates always show up whether you ordered them or not, just check if they're on the bill.

    Pricing really differs room to room and place to place. Ask for the menu and the room rate before you sit down and you'll be fine.
