local barbershop haircut, anything i should know?

Need a basic trim. Thinking a normal street-side barber rather than anything fancy.

Do I need to speak vietnamese? What's a fair tip? Been here a month as a saigon digital nomad and it's getting long.

    show a photo, works every time. ask the price first so there's no confusion

    tipping isn't required in vietnam generally. if unsure just ask at the counter
