中文basic vietnamese phrases that actually helped me
Xin chao = hello
Cam on = thank you (use it constantly)
Bao nhieu tien? = how much?
Khong cay = not spicy
Tinh tien = the bill please
Tones are hard but people get it from context. Learned these in my first week as a saigon digital nomad and they covered 90% of daily life.
